I'm now officially the best rock paper scissors player in all of northwestern lower Michigan. I will be competing in Las Vegas in late June and it will be televised on ESPN2.

After I win in vegas, I will be continuing on to china where I will become the greatest RPS player in the entire world.

I love that I keep reading about this guy from microsoft name Gutierrez. He tasks me. He probably already knows that revenge is a dish best served with pinto beans and muffins.

Today I climbed 3000 feet up a goddamn mountain. When I got above the treeline, there was a good amount of snow. I ate some of it. I had a snowball fight with Jeff. Then we skied down it on our shoes.

It took 2 hours to get up the thing, and 45 minutes to come back down.

I don't think I want to walk ever again.

Tonight I'm eating pizza from X-treme Pizza!

Also... I've seen transformers twice now, even though it's not that good... except for the part where Optimus Prime cuts Bone Crusher's head off with an energon sword. That's pretty sweet. Also Starscream rules.

Again... I'm eating X-treme Pizza tonight.

Today I found out that you can use a blink tag in CSS... so I made my whole myspace blink.

I finally got a nameplate for my desk at work... I'm a real person now.

I almost forgot about how we satan called the radio station live on the air during the talk show.

I forgot to really write about how we went to the Uphill, Hancock's most swingingest dance club. They played sweet hip-hop music and there was an awesome 5 dollar cover. We hung out there for an hour and a half. It's certainly no Matrixx. I feel like I should be at the Matrixx since I'm already in MQT.

After the uphill, we hit last call at the Ramada's bar... I can't remember the name of it, though. I only remember that it was awesome... and that shortly after we got back to 404 we started hatin' on DJs.

So I'm staying with some friends of Tyler for the night because my car didn't feel like it deserved to have four tires anymore. One of them just opened up and let all the air out. It also created a hole large enough to impede my progress and it started to smoke and burn. It's a good thing that there are people in MQT who are willing to let me crash. I have to call the tire place in the morning and call work as well... because I will not be able to attend work tomorrow.

Other than this little snafu, this trip has been totally worth it. The random yelling, playing red rover, people almost dying/getting killed by struthers, too much drinking, not enough sleep, harrassing DJs and seeing awesome people has been awesome.

I ended up not sleeping until like 10am, then getting up at 11:30am to start this ill-fated voyage. I can't believe I stayed up until well past sunrise. It wasn't really partying either, it was just random bullshitting (most of which I no longer remember). We were trying to go to sleep, but kept talking instead. I think it's because this drunk girl who was sleeping on the couch woke up just as we were about to sleep.

This trip has been too much fun. I'm glad I wrote as much of it down as I did.

PS: In case you were wondering what was going to go on manup.com, you can stop wondering because I didn't get it. It's being squatted on. We sent an e-mail from Russ' huskymail to find out how much it would cost. I hope that guy responds to us (Russ us, that is) and that Russ tells us how things work out.

This trip I didn't buy anything drunk from the ebay like I did on wednesday night before I left. I bought a purple 41 (maybe) key keyboard... because I obviously needed it. The week before that I managed to drunk buy a small red toy keyboard.

we've been taking back the radio... guerilla style. it's awesome.

It started out with harrassing phone calls... I called the guy and told him to play some good music because he was playing wolf rock... and wolf rock sucks.

After a while we just decided to go down to the station. We each picked a couple of awesome CDs and just gave them to the guy to play. He didn't seem happy, but he also never played the CDs. He was a dick. He also sucked at DJing.

After that, we continually called him and asked him why he wasn't playing the music we wanted. He had, by the way, promised to play at least 3 of our songs. He didn't.

The next show was a talk show. They also sucked. Struthers called them and talked for like 25 minutes about how Reel Big Fish are terrible and how it shouldn't be in the top 25 bin. Next Andrew took the phone and talked to them about station related problems.

We kept calling them and telling them to play songs even though it was a talk show. They kept calling Struthers a spin doctor, because of the Reel Big Fish stuff, so we called and requested some Spin Doctors stuff. I wanted to hear Jimmy Olsen's Blues and they lied and said they didn't have it. We had it four years ago. I played it on the radio.

Struthers called several times just to sing songs from the producers because the DJs refused to play it for about 4 hours (no exaggeration). I called them and fought with the girl for about 5 minutes on the phone for her to play spin doctors... the right song after they played the wrong one.

There's more, but I'm tired...

Today could have been the most fun day ever.

Andrew's idea to go to the ambassador to get fishbowls before the uphill was an awesome idea.

...almost... he's wearing long underwear... but he's in the living room.

LOL.com... wait don't...

I'm buying manup.com right now.

Also, Struthers almost killed a guy playing Red Rover tonight.

Also, J-Dawg had an incredible hulk tonight at the uphill... which was awesome.

Also, how do you get 100 babies in a bucket? with a blender!
How do you get them out? With a straw!

PS: Raider's here.

2 days ago, struthers was playing red rover with every couple walking down the street holding hands. He'd run at them with his arms raised, then when he was about 3 to 5 feet away, he would yell "RED ROVER."

Yesterday I played a noise set with my theremin while Tyler played pedals. It didn't record, which makes me sad because I think it sounded pretty sweet. We opened the show and got it rolling with about 15 or 20 minutes of Mountain Brothers style noise (but not quite, because we didn't play noisegrass, just noise). After we played were the Rangers... a kind of surfy band. I dug it, especially when they played the Kids in the Hall theme and the Batman theme. Next was This is Deer Country. I liked their set too. Good covers, good voice, good guitar. Finally was Duct Ape. They also rocked... and gave away a muffin.

After the noise show, I had a martini at the Library, then 2 burritos from the Citgo. After that we attempted to find a party with something to drink and maybe some interesting people. We went to Kevin Smith's house for a little while, then went off in search of a 10 keg party on Jasper street at a house we stumbled upon the day before. We found the house, but we never found the kegs and left fairly quickly (after watching lots of drunk people fall down, and have serious relationship arguments while drunk). We ended up at Andrew's old RA's house. They offered us drink, but we didn't... probably because none of them were.

Struthers and I walked back to my car, then drove to 404 where we watched some porn. Bikini Cavegirl and Sex Spa to be more specific. It was terrible and funny, as porn often tends to be.

This morning we went to the Suomi for breakfast. Actually it was 2 by the time we went over there. I sort of woke up to Lee opening his mail this morning, but not really... that's just when I decided to sit up.

We played some Wii for a while after that, and then went bowling. Bowling sucks if I don't have my own equipment. The shoes they gave me kept sticking to the floor and I almost ate lane and oil several times. Even though I didn't bowl very well, it was still good fun.

We're going to the Michigan House in a few, and Tyler and I might record some new noise stuff later or tomorrow morning. Either that or I have to figure out my recording studio in my basement and we can mail stuff to each other. Maybe I'll buy a tape recorder and we can do it all on cassettes.

This weekend seems very disjoint, and the parts are coming back to me slowly.

So I'm sitting at the radio station waiting for Tyler to come with some drums so we can do a little noise jamming. Last night, I walked all over Houghton with no jacket on. We walked from downtown to a house party near the school, but when we got there they had a cover. I'm not all about covers at shitty house parties.

Andrew bought a four pack of Tilt 8.0 and we each had one while walking back to the Dog. The dog was much better, and after a few drinks there, we went to the DT. I wasn't feeling any of the drinks, so after we left the bar, I moved Alec's car. We went to Kevin Smith's house where I took 3 shots of rum, and had some soco and coke. After a while I felt a little buzzed, but not what I was expecting.

Earlier today, I found out that I'm going to be doing a noise show with Tyler. Mountain Brothers reunited. I'm not sure if we're playing noisegrass though... more on that later... probably when I'm drunk.

I want to take a webcam and turn its video into sound.

the electric lock on my driver side door isn't working... so I have to use the fob and then the key... or the button then the fob... it's a little annoying and I'm hoping it's just the cold, but I don't think it is...

whenever I read the newspaper and then use my macbook, the ink from the paper gets all over my nice clean computer.

Thanks to drupal, mikesmithrules.com is getting closer to getting off the ground.

we cover that whoo hoo whoo hoo hoo thing they do on the vonage commercial! Instead of singing it though, we use the theremin... and we jazz it up a bit too.
